- Names of people you split bills with
- Payment usernames or handles you enter
- Receipt images you scan or upload
Receipt Information
When you scan a receipt, item names, prices, tax, tip, and merchant information are extracted to calculate your split.
Automatically Collected
- Device identifiers
- App usage information
- Device platform, app version, and diagnostics
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to provide the bill-splitting service, generate payment QR codes, and improve the app.
Third-Party Services
BillBoss uses third-party services to provide app functionality, including receipt processing and analytics. These services may receive data necessary to perform their functions.
Payment QR codes open directly in third-party apps (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Pay). We do not access your payment accounts.
Device Permissions
- Camera — to scan receipts
- Photo Library — to upload existing receipt photos
Data Deletion
You can delete local app data by deleting the app. To request deletion of any account data, contact us at support@billboss.ai.
Children's Privacy
BillBoss is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app.

By using BillBoss, you agree to these terms.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use BillBoss for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. Your Responsibilities
You agree to use the app lawfully, provide accurate payment information, verify calculations before making payments, and not reverse engineer the app.
4. Payment Processing
BillBoss does not process payments. We generate QR codes that open third-party payment apps. Your use of those apps is subject to their own terms.
5. Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, you should verify calculations before sending payments. We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect receipt scanning or user input.
6. Disclaimer
BillBoss is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app, including payment disputes or financial losses.
7. Termination
We may suspend access for violations of these terms. You may stop using BillBoss at any time by deleting the app.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
